The anodized aluminum sealing method is room temperature operated. The “Sealing Test” can be conducted immediately following the procedure due to the fast and good sealing performance.

Introducing METGUARD 21- Multipurpose Protector

Metguard 21 is a multifunctional electrolytic passivating bath that deposits a transparent, colorless inorganic protective layer on silver and silver & tin electroplates. It is suitable for use with silver, tin, brass, copper, and nickel. The coating keeps the metal from darkening and provides useful defense against environments that include hydrogen sulfide. The solderability and electrical conductivity of the silver and tin deposit plate are not significantly impacted by this passivation.

Salient Features: 

• Hexavalent chrome-free electrolytic passivation.
• RoHS/Reach compliance
• It is protective against the atmosphere containing Hydrogen sulfide and prevent the darkening of the metal
• No appreciable effect on the solderability and electrical conductivity of Silver and Tin.
